The Intentional Motherhood Retreat
How long has it been since someone- anyone- poured into you?
In 2023, over 600 mothers gathered together to learn, to worship, to grow, to encourage, and to be encouraged. We are still in awe of what God did!
The Spirit moved, the Father spoke, and Jesus healed. It was so incredible that we can’t wait to do it again!
We want to invite you to join us October 3rd - 5th, 2024, for a three-day retreat designed to pour into you.
We know the task of motherhood is both beautiful and hard, life giving and exhausting, and we want to create a space for the Spirit to refresh you on your journey.
We will press into how motherhood gently leads us to spiritual formation, how relationships are essential for the journey, and how our connection with God spills over to our connection with our families.
Come to where we live, in Bend, Oregon… a place of startling beauty, a place to come away from it all.
Come with your best friend, your sister, your mom— come together, or come alone.
This is a retreat for any stage of motherhood you find yourself in… from mothers of infants to grandmothers and women who hope to be mothers someday. There will be something for all of you! We all need each other!
We truly believe that the greatest gift you can give your children, young and old, is your transforming self.
It was Dallas Willard who said, “If you don’t come apart for a while, you’ll come apart after a while.”
So come! Come apart for a while with us. Come, planning to be surprised by God, to find in Him the delight your soul craves.
Speakers:
We’ve designed this retreat with your needs in mind. Your need for connection with like-minded women, your need for the gentleness of spiritual formation, and ultimately, your need to be strengthened for the task of motherhood.
Who:
Diane Comer + Elizabeth Mosser
Together, Diane and Elizabeth form a mother-daughter team, bridging the generations to bring biblical hope, practical help, and healing to parents in their God-given task of raising passionate Jesus followers.
Diane Comer:
Diane Comer is a prolific writer, author, speaker, teacher, and co-founder of Intentional. Yet her most profound passion lies in her role as a wife, mother, grandmother, and mentor to parents all over the globe. She deeply desires to help women grow in the art of being women in our cultural moment and come alongside them as they raise their families. She is a mother of 4 grown children and Nine grandchildren and feels she is just getting started in her calling to help raise the next generation.
Elizabeth Mosser:
Elizabeth is a teacher and co-host of “The Intentional Parents Podcast” and helps lead Intentional. She is Brook’s wife, Phil and Diane’s daughter, and mother to Duke, Scarlet, Birdie, Sloane, and so much more. She’s a woman of strength, beauty, and of unassailable love. When catastrophic seizures wreaked havoc on six-month-old Birdie’s brain, Elizabeth stepped into the maelstrom of treatment, therapies, and all the fallout trauma inflicts on families. From that uninvited tragedy, a message began to emerge, a call to hope and healing from a woman who knows what it means to suffer deeply. Elizabeth inspires us to hold onto hope even when it’s hard.
